PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data may be processed when you use KLAVYOMETRE and which third-party services support the website.
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to visitors, guests who take typing tests, and users who create or sign in to an account. It may be updated when features or data flows change.
2. Account information
When you create an account, information such as your email address, chosen username, user identifier and account creation time may be processed for authentication and profile functions. Passwords are not stored as plain text in KLAVYOMETRE profile tables; authentication is handled through Supabase Auth.
3. Typing-test and performance data
A test may generate duration, language, difficulty, WPM, CPM, accuracy, correct and incorrect words, correct/incorrect/total keystrokes, score and test time. Eligible results from signed-in users can be saved to profile history and used for leaderboard features.
4. Verified test attempts
For some signed-in tests, a temporary server-side attempt is created to check preparation, start and finish times and to verify the result. Attempts that fail validation may be recorded with limited technical information for security and debugging.
5. Guest use
You can take a typing test without an account. Guest results are shown in the browser but are not permanently linked to an account and are not used as verified leaderboard results.
6. Service providers
KLAVYOMETRE uses Supabase for authentication, database and related backend services. Hosting, domain, security, performance, analytics or advertising services may be added. This policy should be updated if those services materially change how personal data is processed.
7. Advertising, cookies and similar technologies
If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, Google and other providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalize advertising. A consent-management system can be used where required.
8. Security
Access rules, authentication and server-side functions are used to help protect account and test data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong password that you do not reuse elsewhere.
9. Retention and account requests
Account and performance data may be kept as long as needed to operate the service, display statistics and meet security or legal needs. Requests concerning access, correction or deletion can be sent through the Contact page once the public contact address is configured.
10. Children
KLAVYOMETRE is a general-purpose typing practice tool. Where minors create accounts or provide personal information, applicable local rules and any required parent or guardian consent should be considered.
11. Changes
This policy may be revised when features, infrastructure or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page will be updated for material revisions.
12. Contact
Use the Contact page for privacy or account-data questions.
