PRACTICE PLAN
A 15-Minute Daily Typing Practice Routine
Consistency matters more than heroic one-day sessions. A compact 15-minute routine is long enough to train technique but short enough to repeat most days.
Minutes 0–3: warm up
Type slowly and comfortably. Focus on posture, relaxed hands and clean key presses rather than the score.
Minutes 3–7: accuracy block
Use medium difficulty and deliberately lower your pace. Try to keep errors minimal while preserving a smooth rhythm.
Minutes 7–10: weak-key block
Practice the letters, punctuation or transitions that caused the most errors in recent tests.
Minutes 10–13: speed block
Take one or two short 15- or 30-second tests. Push slightly beyond your comfortable pace without letting accuracy collapse.
Minutes 13–15: benchmark
Finish with one 60-second test under your standard settings. Save or note the result and stop rather than repeating until you get a lucky score.
Practical checklist
- Practice at roughly the same time if possible.
- One benchmark is enough; do not chase the number.
- Take a rest day when your hands or attention feel fatigued.
Choose English, German or Turkish, then keep language, difficulty and duration consistent when comparing progress.
